dIS•orient Journalzine
During the 1990s, this Los Angeles Based Literary Arts journal was founded by Asian American Pacific Islander rebels. We felt that there was little access for AAPI authors and artists for publication, so we created one.
This is a reboot. We are here to promote the works of AAPI artists and writers as well as other under-represented communities.
This website will house an archive of past editions of dISorient Journalzine from the 90s, and we will be blogging about the latest work by AAPI artists.
We will also promote the work of AAPI writers and artists with book reviews, and other critical studies.
We also feature a calendar of readings throughout the Southern California Basin.
